So kiddos, it's been a rough one hasn't it? 2025 just started and it feels like the world is going crazy. I know, man. Trust me, I get it. 

But you know what, take it from an old man: this too will pass. Life is a bit mad at the moment, no matter where in the world you are. But take it from someone who saw the rise and fall (and rise again) of counterculture, the breaking down of big-wig energy execs, and having your life completely scrutinised for the world to see. It feels raw, unhinged and you catch yourself so overwhelmed and unable to breathe under the weight of it all. 

But this will pass. The good, the bad.. this too, must pass. So do what makes you happy - no matter how small and insignificant it might seem. If it makes you happy and helps you detract from the madness of it all, even for a moment, do it. You can only take on the world when you've taken care of yourself first.  And having a community helps a helluva lot too. 

Now my PA has been showing me all these ummm, edits, I think you kids call it? Right?

Well, I mean, these are some cinematic quality stuff here! And from what I can see, everyone seems to really lift each other up. Now from someone who saw some pretty gnarly stuff in the 70-90s let me tell you, a community like this is what gets you through it. Jamie Ann is doing a stellar job at keeping this online community going and I see these covens popping up and your own Talamasca groups forming? I mean, damn. You all deserve so much credit for what you do. And one day (sooner than you think though it might not feel like it), you'll be able to look back and go 'well damn, wasn't I lucky to be a part of this?' 

Now my pain in the a-*seriously Daniel??* ...well, they've set up a little page where you can see their fanart and other personal projects (I think there's a portrait or two of me  there) so I'm sure they'll appreciate it if you go check it out at palette4artncake.com 

Also, because they clearly don't have enough work to do *you petty old man!* they've even set up a Patreon page where you can sign up for free (with additional memberships) where you can deep dive even further into the world of my life with this annoying PA. That'll go live by the end of this week so check it out if you like. 

But until then... Stay safe. Don't do anything I would do. And remember, you're always stronger together.
